QUICK ANSWER
Five QC gates, and none skippable. At Yoofo, every gift box passes: 1) incoming inspection — paper grammage and moisture, greyboard flatness and thickness, foil adhesion, all sampled on arrival; 2) first-article press approval — color against the swatch, registration against the marks, re-run on every shift or ink change; 3) finishing inspection — foil voids and bridging, UV bubbles, embossing depth, first-article plus roving patrol per process; 4) assembly inspection — glue bond, magnet pull, drawer glide, closure gaps, 100% visual with sampled functional tests; 5) pre-packing final check — count, packing spec and carton marks triple-checked. This flow is written into our ISO9001 system documents, and a 100-piece trial runs through the same five gates as a 2,000-piece bulk order. Bring this checklist when you audit our factory.
Clients often ask: what does your ISO9001 actually cover, step by step? Here's the QC flow every gift box passes before dispatch — bring this checklist when you audit our factory.
Gate 1: Incoming inspection. Paper, greyboard, inks, foils — sampled on arrival. Paper checked for grammage and moisture content, greyboard for flatness and thickness tolerance, foil for adhesion. Let bad material through here and everything downstream is wasted effort.
Gate 2: First-article approval at press. Before each order runs, a first article is printed — color against the swatch, registration against the marks — and only signed-off sheets go to bulk. Shift changes and ink changes trigger a fresh first-article check. Non-negotiable.
Gate 3: Finishing inspection. Foil stamping checked for voids and bridging; UV for bubbles and adhesion; embossing for consistent depth. First-article plus roving inspection per process — not a one-time glance.
Gate 4: Box assembly inspection. Glue bond strength, magnet pull force, drawer glide feel, lid closure gaps — 100% visual check on appearance, sampled functional tests. White boxes get an extra rule: no visible specks, period.
Gate 5: Final check before packing + packing spec. Count against the order quantity; packing method matched to the product — dividers for crush-sensitive goods, palletizing to spec for export. Carton marks, quantities and shipping marks triple-checked. Not one carton wrong.
Five gates, none skippable. This flow is written into our ISO9001 system documents — not a slogan. In mass production, the winner is whoever doesn't cut corners on QC.
